Kejahatan Cyber di Indonesia Masih Mengkhawatirkan

Jakarta - Sikap mudah berpuas diri dalam perilaku konsumen di Indonesia membuat mereka masih jadi target empuk bagi para dedemit maya.

Banyak dari konsumen di Indonesia yang sudah menyadari pentingnya menjaga keamanan data-data digitalnya. Namun banyak di antara mereka yang terlalu cepat berpuas diri dalam hal melindungi perangkat-perangkatnya, atau merasa tak perlu untuk meningkatkan keamanannya.

Dalam Norton Cyber Security Insights Report yang dirilis oleh Symantec, terungkap kalau 76% konsumen mengetahui bahwa mereka harus aktif melindungi informasi online mereka, karena sadar bahwa bahaya kejahatan cyber di dunia maya setara dengan risiko-risiko yang ada di dunia nyata.

Intensifkan Pengamanan Perbatasan, Indonesia Butuh Kebijakan “Border Security”

KBRN, Jakarta : Pos lintas batas negara (PLBN) yang telah didirikan di tujuh wilayah perbatasan di Indonesia, memerlukan perangkat pendukung lainnya.

Seperti yang disampaikan oleh Dirjen Imigrasi Kementerian Hukum dan HAM RI, Ronny Frankie Sompie. Ia menilai, gagahnya pembangunan PLBN sayangnya saat ini belum diikuti dengan adanya kebijakan “border security” atau pengamanan wilayah perbatasan.

“Kita belum punya undang-undang yang menjadi dasar untuk kebijakan border security, menjadi panutan seluruh kementerian dan lembaga termasuk pemda dalam penguatan perbatasan perlintasan,” tegas Ronny Frankie Sompie ketika dikonfirmasi di Jakarta, Kamis (19/1/2017).

Indonesia to encourage cyber security in Asia-Pacific regional preparatory meeting

Denpasar, Bali (ANTARA News) - Indonesia will raise the issue of cyber security to the Asia-Pacific Regional Preparatory Meeting 2017 held ahead of the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC) scheduled for October 2017 in Buenos Aires.

Chief of Multilateral Institution of the Communication and Informatics Ministry Sri Sunardi said on Monday Indonesia wants cyber norms to be incorporated to the draft declaration which will be brought to the WTDC 2017.

Indonesia-Russia Discuss Cyber Security Cooperation

They discussed cyber security issues They also addressed cyber security cooperation.

How Indonesia Prevents Terrorism Financing

JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - The National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) and the Financial Transactions Analysis and Reporting Center (PPATK) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen efforts to prevent and eradicate terrorism financing.

"In dealing with the financing of terrorism, we do need the help of the PPATK," Head of BNPT Police Commissioner General Suhardi Alius stated during the MoU signing event in Jakarta on Wednesday.

He noted that terrorists currently took advantage of technological developments, such as the virtual payment gateway Paypal, to fund their terror activities. Hence, it must be prevented, so that the funds do not flow for terrorist activities, he emphasized.
