Jakarta, January 2026 – Indo Security Expo & Forum continues to strengthen its role as Indonesia’s leading platform for the security industry by actively expanding global engagement and gathering international insights relevant to national security development. This effort was carried out through Indo Security’s visit to an international security event held in Dubai on 12–14 January 2026.

Indo Security’s participation was carried out as part of a strategic canvassing initiative to observe current industry trends, engage with international stakeholders, and identify emerging technologies shaping the global security ecosystem. This initiative comes at a critical time as Indonesia faces increasing security challenges, particularly in the digital domain.

According to the National Cyber and Encryption Agency (BSSN), Indonesia recorded 3.64 billion cyberattack attempts between January – July 2025, reflecting an alarming rise in threat exposure and digital risk. Of these anomalies, 83.68% were malware-based, followed by 4.32% unauthorized access attempts, and 0.64% system exploitation incidents, highlighting significant vulnerabilities across sectors. These figures highlight the growing need for advanced security solutions, stronger system resilience, and improved coordination between public and private sectors.

Proven Growth and Strong Outlook Toward 2026

Indo Security, together with Indo Firex, Indonesia International Smart City (IISMEX), Indo Water, Indo Waste & Recycling, Indo Renergy & Electric Expo & Forum, continue to demonstrate strong growth across each edition. The 2025 event achieved a significant milestone, hosting 620 participants from 26 countries, including 12 international country pavilions, and achieving substantial growth in exhibition area. Looking ahead, The 13th Indonesia’s No. 1 International Security Event will once again be presented as part of this large-scale integrated exhibition, held on 11–13 August 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, creating broader opportunities for cross-sector collaboration and business networking.
